OpenDataVote is a cooperative open data advocacy initiative organized by Azavea and a team of partners. The main OpenDataVote marketing website includes a history of the initiative and a comprehensive guide, so that other localities can organize similar efforts. “OpenDataVote” should always be written in upper camel case.

#HOTLunch

An Azavea-lead initiative aimed at promoting volunteering for Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) by curating monthly events and a recurring opportunity for Azavea employees to use paid volunteer time. Read the Azavea blog post for more details about #HOTLunch. “#HOTLunch” should be written as a pound sign, or hashtag (#), followed by “HOT” in all caps and title case “Lunch”.

GeoPhilly

GeoPhilly is a community group managed by Azavea staff that organizes open, public, educational and social events. The domain geophilly.com is owned by Azavea and redirects to the group’s Meetup page. The Meetup page includes a list of past and upcoming events. “GeoPhilly” should always be written in upper camel case.
